CharityWeb sends out e-mails summarizing the previous day's donations and registrations. The e-mails are meant to make it easier to reconcile bank deposits with donations and registrations and to alert you whether there were transactions so you know to log in to get more detail.
There is one e-mail for donations and another for registrations. The sum of both for a given day will match your bank deposit within 2 to 5 business days. Amex transactions and Discover transactions are sometimes deposited separately.
There is also a monthly version of the e-mails which goes out on the 1st of the month and summarizes the activity from the previous month.
You can control who gets the daily summaries in the Users -> Find/Edit User tab in the control panel. If the user already exists, click on the Edit button. A pop-up will appear with the e-mail reports listed across the bottom. Check the boxes and submit to sign up; check off the boxes and submit to sign off.
If the user doesn't exist, use the Add User tab to create the user and then edit the User to sign them up.
The the user is already receiving e-mails but does not have a user account, create the user account using the e-mail that is receiving the summary e-mail. Wait until the next summary e-mail comes out, and then edit the user's entry; you will be able to manage the subscription then.
