Stripe changed the way it handles voids in 2018. It now handles voids no differently than refunds. Thus, a separate transaction shows when a transaction is voided. Also, the Stripe processing fees are not refunded. CharityWeb fees are refunded for both voids and refunds.
You can void a transaction the day it was made online if payment has not settled. A void will change the original transaction's status. It will not show up as a successful transaction.
Click "Reports"
Select "Transactions"
Find transaction by narrowing down data (date, donor last name, etc)
A "Void" box will appear in the first column (if you don't see it the time has past and you'll need to refund)
Select the box
Click "Submit"
