Stripe setup is integrated with the CharityWeb signup process.
If something went wrong with the setup or you want to switch from another payment gateway to Stripe, do the following:
- Gather the information you will need for Stripe:
- Federal EIN
- Bank account information
- Contact information
- Go to the Invoices -> Stripe Setup tab in your dashboard.
- Click on the "Connect with Stripe" button. You will be taken to stripe.com to signup and complete the form. When done, Stripe will return you to CharityWeb, and you will be ready to accept cards through Stripe. (If you already have a Stripe account, either login to your account before clicking on the "Connect with Stripe" button or login to your Stripe account right after clicking on the "Connect with Stripe" button.)
- Contact us to let us know you have made the switch.
- Be sure to cancel your account with your old payment gateway, if applicable.
